Virtual rehabilitation

Virtual rehabilitation refers to a physiotherapist-guided rehabilitation that is implemented using remote technology. Virtual rehabilitation can be given in cycles or as single visits. In virtual rehabilitation, a physiotherapist and a client are connected to each other in real time through a video connection. The physiotherapist gives the client instructions and exercises, follows the client´s training and gives feedback. At the end of the session the client gets some home exercises. A computer, smartphone or tablet and a good internet connection that allows video and audio sharing, are needed for the virtual rehabilitation. An e-mail address is also needed for to send exercises to a client.
